Kerala’s much-loved automaker has launched the Onam edition of both the Taigun SUV and Virtus sedan in time for Onam and for the launch of new Volkswagen showrooms in the region. These are the special editions currently available in Kerala at a price of ₹13,57,000 to ₹15,63,000 and have a production of 100 sets per model.

Stylish and Feature-Rich Updates

The Taigun Onam Edition has been derived from the top trim GT Line and features all-black treatment on the outside as well as inside. The colors of exterior include black, 17-inch ‘Cassino’ alloy wheels, Digital 8-inch driver display, 10-inch infotainment screen, Ventilated front seats and Automatic Climate Control. The Virtus Onam Edition has most of these features but does not support sunroof similar to the one fitted in the Taigun model.

Engine and Availability

Both models of the Onam Edition come with a 1. 0-litre turbo-petrol engine with the power output rated at 115 hp. The automobile is available in two types of transmission; the manual transmission comes with 6-sped while the automatic transmission is installed. Even with the additional embellishments, these special editions cost as much as the GT Line and Highline models on which they are founded.

These Onam Editions are incredibly stylish and exclusive and, at the same time, incorporate all the good things that premium cars have to offer, which makes them interesting for buyers in the Indian state of Kerala.
